Welcome to our festival center!

This page is about last years festival. The full programme for CPH:DOX 2020 will be announced on February 20. In the meantime, you can stay updated on the titles announced so far on this page.

On the 20th of March we will open our doors to our internationally renowned festival centre Kunsthal Charlottenborg, which we present together with our main sponsor Normann Copenhagen. Kunsthal Charlottenborg is open every day during the festival, and is an ideal place to meet, network, take a break, recharge, experience, or simply just enjoy the atmosphere of CPH:DOX. The art space is designed in collaboration between Normann Copenhagen and MBADV Studio by Maria Bruun and Anne Dorthe Vester.

At Kunsthal Charlottenborg we present the unique sofa-cinema, Social Cinema (here you have to buy tickets for a film), the art exhibition Europa Endlos (free), the interactive exhibition (free) and the virtual reality cinema (40 kr. per showing). This is also where the film industry meet for CPH:INDUSTRY, and where you will find directors from all over the world.

We open the festival with a celebration party on Friday 22nd of March, where Olof Dreijer, one half of The Knife, begins the evening with a talk about feminism, queerness and the political situation in Europe in 2019. All followed by one of his phenomenal DJ sets later on.

Access to Kunsthal Charlottenborg is free, and we are open every day from 10:00 until late evening between 20-30. March.

In other words – see you at Nyhavn 2!
