EVERYDAY P!TCH is a free documentary pitching competition for film enthusiasts during the CPH:DOX festival

The best P!TCH presentation will be chosen and given DKK 5.000 for production combined with continuous professional mentoring by Everyday.

Everyday Project is CPH:DOX’s new digital video platform encouraging film enthusiasts to create and tell personal stories with the use of available technologies including smartphones and tablets. Everyday was created to foster new film talents all over the country while working as a channel into the documentary film industry.  

Everyday P!TCH is a competition with the purpose of motivating film enthusiasts from all over Denmark to create unique and unconventional documentary stories, uploading them to everydayproject.dk to meet a big audience – not just other users but also industry people looking for new talents.

Everyday P!TCH begins Saturday March 25th with a four hour workshop moderated by one of Denmark’s biggest producers in the documentary world Sigrid Dyekjær. There will also be a perspective talk by director Michael Graversen. March 26th each team will pitch their film and a jury will decide on the three winners.


Day 1:

10.00-10.20: Welcome + Introduction to Everyday

10.20-11.00: Inspirational Talk by Sigrid Dyekjær

11.00-11.30: Perspective talk by Michael Graversen

11.30-12.30: Hands-on workshop 1

12.30-13.300: Lunch

12.30-13.30: Hands-on workshop 2

13.30-14.00: Competition kick-off + end of today

Day 2:

12.00-13.30: Each team presents a five minute pitch, consisting of a one minute video and an oral presentation including a visual story board.

13:30-14:00: A jury selects the best pitch to receive DKK 5.000 for production combined with a continuous mentorship with Everyday.
